This website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means the site is built so that:
- every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline;
- text can be enlarged to at least 200 percent without loss of content, and the layout adapts to phone screens;
- colour is never the only way information is given; status is always also written in words;
- images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers;
- forms have visible labels, required fields are marked in words as well as with a symbol, and error messages say what to fix;
- the site works without JavaScript for reading content and submitting the registration, sponsorship and contact forms;
- no content flashes, and the countdown and slideshow on the home page do not trap keyboard focus.
Known limitations: the seat confirmation card attached to registration emails is an image; the same information is written in the body of that email. Some historic press photographs in the Gallery may lack detailed descriptions while captions are being completed.
The Forum venue
Registered delegates who need step free access, a sign language interpreter, reserved seating, large print material or any other adjustment can tell us at info@neif.com.ng or call +234 800 NEIF 2026, quoting their registration reference. Requests made at least five (5) working days before the event allow us to arrange them with the venue. Virtual attendance is available for every public session.
Tell us
If you find any part of this website hard to use, email info@neif.com.ng with the page address and what happened. We reply within five (5) working days and treat accessibility faults as defects to be fixed, not feedback to be filed.
